At the National Centre for Naturopathic Medicine’s Clinical Trials Centre in Lismore, breaking down barriers by conducting research where it’s needed most. We’re not just bringing trials to the regions we’re designing them to be accessible across Australia using telehealth and online options. That means more people, no matter their postcode, can participate and benefit from cutting-edge research.

Dr Janet Schloss, Clinical Research Fellow at the Centre, leads this work with passion and determination.

Yet, with an estimated 88% of clinical trials in Australia still happening in cities, regional communities remain underserved. Deeper financial investment means we can expand our facilities, run a greater variety of trials, and ensure more Australians can access life-changing health research close to home.
